Questant provided Project Management on a large corporate fit out project, but through time have helped BlackRock in a number of areas for over 10 years:
Introduced the concept of Program Management to the Corporate Services group in 2012 to improve project results and communication with management
- Resulted in development of a PMO group across all project types
Introduced and managed the Project Controls group, which continues to provide conceptual estimating, master scheduling, cost management and financial reporting on all facility, technology and capital projects.
- Resulted in development of a parametric cost model, consistent financial reporting on capital and P&L, and data consistency
Authored the capital projects Playbook processes and templates and provided training to internal staff and external service providers.
- Resulted in improved certainty and decision making from management and improved the consistency of input from external service providers
Questant provides Owner Representation services to Brookfield on Landlord fit out and core renovation projects across the New York boroughs, including Manhattan and Brooklyn. Projects include:
- Fit out projects for government agencies ranging from $1MM to $30MM
- White box renovations to prepare for incoming tenants
- Lobby renovations, including entry doors, security desk, finishes etc.
- Ground floor retail renovation and fit out
- Restroom renovations
- Office fit out for the Brooklyn Headquarters
Questant provided Program Management leadership and developed and implemented the process for capturing and raising new project requests and to ensure these were met within the parameters of a capital project.

We developed the commercial project workbooks for use by all project management service providers

providers, and ability to report and benchmark results
We developed a system to harvest and produce reports from the finance system to provide transparency to the University’s Estates Development Project Managers
- Resulted in ability to track the project commercial position from budget approval to final spend on the projects, all effi ciently captured in a centralized based reporting system.
